Hi, I’m Christine, and I like to help people.  My team and I work with small business owners to help them start and grow their businesses by focusing on their books so they can focus on what they love to do! 

 

With a specialty in small business, our strengths are relieving the stress of managing cash flow and the deadlines associated with vendors, payroll, and even tax due dates.

In my past life, I owned a small construction company, and when the housing market crashed in 2008, I learned QuickBooks was more than a glorified check register. I quickly learned how to use QuickBooks to manage the business and my sanity. From managing expenses, verifying our pricing structure, costing jobs, and expanding our income streams, I utilized every tool available to survive the 75% reduction in sales that accompanied the crash.

Understanding the business financials didn’t happen until I could apply it to my real life despite earning a bachelor’s in business management from Bentley University, where I learned all about Profit and Loss reports and the Balance Sheet.

Fast forward eight years after the sale of the construction company, I realized I wanted to help people understand their financials on a whole new level.  Count on Christine Consulting was born in 2016 to help people like you.

 

My free time has shifted towards more personal pursuits as my daughter embarks on her college journey.  I’ve discovered a passion for running.  The sense of achievement crossing the finish line of a race is unparalleled, and it's a hobby I've come to embrace with enthusiasm.

 

With this new chapter unfolding in my life, I am exploring new travel destinations with my family, but  I also cherish the moments spent reading on the beach, a serene spot just two blocks from home.

I still love to volunteer my time!  For over 13 years, I dedicated myself to volunteering with the Girl Scouts, guiding a troop of Daisies as they transitioned into Adult Scouts.  Now, I spend my time helping other leaders on their journey, chaperoning and supervising international Girl Scout Trips.  Next up?  Italy!
